Zuber Syed is one of the few practising advocates in India whose career began inside the technology and security functions he now advises on. A graduate of NALSAR University of Law, he practices before the Telangana High Court, the Andhra Pradesh High Court, the National Company Law Tribunal and commercial courts across India.
Before founding the firm, he spent more than two decades in cybersecurity and technology leadership, building security programmes, advising boards on cyber risk, briefing CISOs and engaging regulators across jurisdictions. He is recognised as a technology-focused legal authority on cybersecurity, the DPDP Act, and the legal architecture of the India GCC, and is regularly engaged as a strategic regulatory advisor by boards, founders and global general counsel.
He works directly, not through a layer, with general counsel, CISOs, CEOs, founders and boards on matters where getting any one of legal, technical, regulatory or commercial wrong is the same as getting all of them wrong.
