Zuber & Partners (the “firm”, “we”, “us”) is a law practice based at Building 9, Raheja Mindspace IT Park, HITEC City, Madhapur, Hyderabad - 500081, Telangana, India. For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the firm acts as a Data Fiduciary in respect of personal data submitted through this website.

2. What we collect

We collect only the information you choose to give us. Through the enquiry and consultation forms on this website, that is typically your name, work email address, telephone or WhatsApp number, organisation, role or title, the nature of your matter, your preferred consultation window, and any jurisdiction or urgency details you add.

We do not ask for, and request that you do not submit, sensitive documents, privileged material, financial account credentials, or identity documents through the website forms. If a matter requires those materials, we will agree a secure channel with you first.

Our hosting infrastructure processes standard technical data required to serve the site, such as IP address, browser type and request timestamps. We do not run advertising trackers or sell any data.

3. Why we use it

Personal data submitted through this website is used to respond to your enquiry, run conflict and eligibility checks before accepting instructions, schedule and prepare for consultations, and maintain the firm's professional and regulatory records.

Where you ask to receive briefings or frameworks, we use your contact details to send you the material you requested and, if you have opted in, subsequent editions. You can withdraw that consent at any time.

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.

4. Legal basis and consent

We process personal data on the basis of the consent you give when submitting a form, and, where applicable, for the legitimate uses recognised under the DPDP Act, 2023, including responding to a request you have voluntarily made.

Consent can be withdrawn by writing to info@zuberpartners.com. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out, nor does it affect records we are required to retain under professional or statutory obligations.

5. Confidentiality and privilege

Information you send us before a formal engagement is treated as confidential, but submitting a website form does not by itself create a lawyer-client relationship or attract legal professional privilege. Privilege attaches once the firm has accepted instructions in writing.

Access to enquiry data inside the firm is limited to the managing partner's office and the fee earners assessing the matter.

6. Sharing and processors

We do not sell, rent or trade personal data. We share it only with service providers that operate the website, email and case-management systems the firm uses, each bound by confidentiality and data-processing obligations, and with counsel, courts, regulators or authorities where disclosure is required by law or necessary to conduct your matter.

Where a processor is located outside India, transfers are made in accordance with the framework permitted under applicable Indian law at the time of transfer.

7. Retention

Enquiries that do not become engagements are retained only as long as needed for conflict-check and regulatory purposes, and then deleted. Matter files are retained for the period required by professional obligations, statutory limitation periods and applicable regulatory guidance, after which they are securely destroyed.

8. Security

Form submissions are transmitted over TLS. Access to firm systems is controlled by authentication, least-privilege access and device controls, and enquiry data is not stored on personal devices. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be entirely secure, so please do not send highly sensitive material through the website.

9. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to confirm what personal data of yours we hold, to correct or complete inaccurate data, to erase data we no longer need, and to withdraw consent for future processing. You may also nominate another individual to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity.

Send requests to info@zuberpartners.com. We respond within one business day and complete verified requests as promptly as the applicable law requires. If you are not satisfied with our handling of a request, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

10. Children

This website is intended for business and professional audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal data of children. If you believe a child has submitted data, write to us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in law, our systems or our practices. The current version always appears on this page. Material changes affecting how we use existing data will be communicated to affected individuals where we hold contact details.
